Chinesely does not collect, transmit or store any personal information. It runs entirely on your device, needs no account, and works with no internet connection.

Nothing. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, or any usage analytics. There is no login and no server that belongs to us.

Your study progress — which words you have seen, answered correctly, or got wrong — is saved in local storage on your device. It never leaves the device and we cannot see it.

Deleting the app deletes this data permanently. You can also erase it at any time from the Settings screen.

The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. We do not share data with anyone, because we do not hold any.

Text-to-speech is produced by the speech engine built into your own operating system. When you tap a word to hear it, that request is handled by your device under Apple’s or Google’s own privacy policy. Nothing comes back to us.

Apple and Google collect their own data about downloads and crashes under their own privacy policies. We see only anonymous aggregate figures such as total downloads. This applies to every app on those stores and is outside our control.

Chinesely is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children. We cannot knowingly collect personal information from children because we collect no personal information at all.

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to show you, correct, export or delete. Your progress belongs to you and sits on your device.

If a future version collects anything, this policy will be updated and the change will be described in the release notes before that version ships.
